On the day of your first massage I ask that you arrive about ten minutes early so that you can fill out a confidential Client Information Form which will provide me with your general health information. It also provides you with a place to describe your primary concerns and what you are looking to achieve through massage. We will review this form together and we will discuss the best plan for your massage.
I will leave the room and give you time to undress and get on the warm table under a sheet and blanket. Only the part of the body being massaged will be carefully uncovered while it is being worked on. You should never feel uncomfortable and I invite you to communicate with me throughout the massage. The warmth of the table and room can also be adjusted to suit your needs.
Communication is especially important when it comes to the depth of pressure during the massage. It is my goal that you receive the very best massage every time I see you and this requires that you let me know if at any point during the massage you would prefer more pressure, less pressure or a particular area needs more attention. While I invite you to communicate with me about your massage I keep my conversation during the massage to the minimum needed to ensure your comfort so that you can relax mentally as well as physically.
